Ancient Rome: Beeswax Tablets

This is my beeswax tablet. I'm studying Rome this year. There are other civilisations too study but I picked Rome. My brother is studying Egypt. But he made a Roman tablet like me.

This is the Beeswax that you heat up. Then you melt it on your tablet.

This is your tablet after you finish waxing it. It looks bad in this photo but, when it dries it will look better. I still have to add my finished photo. In school, in Ancient Rome, instead of using paper they wrote on these wax tablets.

Art Stress Ball

I made a Stress ball last week. It was not part of school but my mum posted it anyway. You make it out of flour and a balloon. It's very hard to get the flour in the balloon. You need to make a funnel.

Embossing Technique

I made a bookmark today.Here it is. Do u like it? It's blue, my favourite colour and green my second favourite colour. Purple's next.

We used an Embossing Technique to get the animals on there. The little studs are just brads. On the bottom of the paper we used a punch. I used stickers for my name down the sides. The ribbon is there so I can mark my place in my book.
